Location: In Gordonsville on Market Street between Main and Baker.
Features: Playground, shelter house, pool, seasonal stream and shaded open space.
Story: Originally developed in the early to mid- 1900s and run by local citizens. Now in need of care and attention.
Our Challenge: Assist the Town in attracting funds to expand and refurbish the park.
Park Footprint:
Acquisitions by the Town of Gordonsville and The Piedmont Environmental Council’s Town to Trail initiative and working group of friends, neighbors and businesses have transformed the existing park from a stand-alone footprint of less than one acre to a four-acre park that links to the six-acre Fireman’s Fairgrounds.

Project Update:

Working with the Town of Gordonsville, park design for the four-acre space is planned for 2021!
